The World’s Most Diverse City

The World's Most Diverse City

The 2011 Census has shown that London is the most diverse city in the world with well over 250 different languages being spoken in the city itself. Another thing the 2011 Census revealed was that for the first time the percentage of white Britons occuping England’s capital city was under 50, in fact it was 45%. 1 in every 3 London residents is born outside of Britain. London has a population of approximately 8.2 million people.

  1. Yes the Census stats were a real eye opener in terms of how multicultural we have become. This is really interesting in terms of the mixed race population.
P.S I love ‘reading’ stats and finding a news story in them!
